Charged me 20 dollars for installing the 260 dollar battery, have always gone to batteries plus for years. Will not anymore. employee was argumentative with me too.
Predatory customer service. It starts with the associates. First, they alert each other if a customer walked in they haven't seen before. Then, they will agree to replace the battery, but will charge you a fee. They don't disclose the fee in advance. It sounds like you are just buying the remote battery (which is way cheaper to buy online), and next thing you know you are being charged double or triple.
