this location is under staffed and guys working the counter simply do not care about customer service, wasted 20 min of driving because was put on hold for 17 mins just to find out that the battery in stock was not charged!
My initial visit was well received. I purchased a motorcycle battery 6/26/2025. It failed to hold charge and was replaced in May 2026. (2year warranty). Upon picking up my new battery, I brought a non-working auto key fob in for battery replacement. I was told to bring both fobs and car into their “certified locksmith” center. The person “T”, who helped me, took both fobs to a back room to do battery replacement in non-working one. I called the Joliet store several times, and no one answered. When the call went to voicemail, there was no prompt that I had reached BatteriesPlus, and the mailbox was full. I called customer service and they just put me on hold for several minutes. When I called the Bolingbrook location, someone picked up within two rings. Go figure.
Bought a battery for my motorcycle it was the wrong size. I called in and brought my core in and the gentleman working had the replacement ready to go for me. Very good and friendly . Ill definitely recommend to my biker friends.
Putting one star only because I couldn't put zero. Brought in my laptop to replace the battery, they broke it, sent it off to get fixed, they couldn't, and now want to replace it but can't just give me money for my 6 year old laptop. Oh and this all took 1.5 MONTHS with no communication. I had to call every week for them to actually pick it up and do something. Never bring your nicer electronics here.
