Update: I’m updating this to five stars based on how this was ultimately handled. This was my fourth visit to this location, and my prior three experiences were flawless. After this review was posted, the owner, Norman, reached out to me directly and handled the situation exactly how a business owner should. He was professional, accountable, and transparent about what went wrong. So I came in the store looking for one style battery for my son’s drone controller. The team was great at being patient and helping us find the correct battery that was needed instead of what I thought. They were helpful, professional and friendly. Had a 10:00 AM appointment for a Samsung S23 Ultra screen replacement. Arrived at 10:15 AM and was told it would take about two hours. I returned at 12:00 PM and was told another 30–60 minutes. Returned again around 1:30 PM and was told “another half hour.” When I returned at 2:00 PM, new staff informed me the phone had not been disassembled and no repair work had begun. Do not bother buying a car battery from Batteries Plus. I purchased and X2 Power battery about a year ago. This week my car all of a sudden wouldn’t start after stopping for gas. I had AAA jump and test the battery and they confirmed it was a bad cell. I thought, oh well, Batteries Plus gave me a 5 year free replacement warranty, so I can go there with the bad battery and exchange for a good one like any other retailer of car batteries.
