I took my 4-year old phone in to have the battery replaced. Unfortunately the "new" battery holds a charge for exactly the same length of time as the old one did. It was over $70 with tax, so cheaper than a new phone, but a total waste of money and time.
Ask for prices before getting any work done on a car key fob... Tiny screw and CR 1616 battery cost me 18.49

I needed a battery replacement on my S23 ultra and they had one left for me. They partnered with Samsung so the battery was a Samsung original. Took about an hour or so for the battery replacement.
I think maybe for the first time in my life something having to do with insurance or repairs went well. They fixed my S23 Ultra good as new and did so within the two hr time frame they said they would. I'm very pleased with the service and grateful to the person who repaired my phone.
