Purchased a Duracell 12-9F2 from the Villa Park location for my UPS in May 2018 and the UPS started giving errors this week (8 years later) so I took it in to the Villa Park location. To verify the failure was not the UPS and before I spend another $50, I showed them the receipt and asked them to check the old battery. They pulled out a voltmeter and I responded that the website states they can test batteries and they said they only voltage check not load test. Great experience all around, I needed a specific battery and the man behind the counter was willing to open up a new box to test if it fit, and when it didnt he set up an order directly to my house which arrived in 2 days and emailed me a tracking number. He also fixed my phone's charging port by cleaning the lint out of it for free. I was thinking I might have to get a new phone soon but he may have saved me a couple more years on that.
I was so pleased with and thankful for BatteriesPlus. My brother highly recommended BP, and he was completely correct--products, promptness, professionalism, friendliness, and ease of ordering and picking up. I'll be back when the need arises!
I bought a marine battery replacement for my back-up sump pump. The last one lasted 10+ years. This one lasted just over a year, months past the warranty. I was told there was nothing they can do. Handed me my receipt back. Have a nice day! This place is horrible! Do not buy a battery from this place!
