According to the Batteries Plus website, the stores recycle batteries and a variety of other products, including LED bulbs. I took a box of dead batteries and a couple of LED bulbs to the local store. They took everything, but told me they just throw away the LEDs, that there is no recycling of them. I do appreciate the honesty of the employee, but am very disappointed that the website was misleading. I'm still looking for a way to recycle LEDs
I had a inflated lithium ion battery pack I needed to dispose of and they were able to take care of it for me for $15, this is a great service.
