Went to the Bath & Body Works at Westfield Valley Fair yesterday and purchased several Wallflower refills plus a new plug. Today, after cleaning my entire room and finally opening the bag, I realized the cashier forgot to include the actual plug despite charging me for it on the receipt. Just finished leaving this store, at 13:55 hrs. just want to say to everybody that buys products from here please be careful and check your receipts count your items before you even leave the store. The girl helping us at check out as she was scanning our items she put a wallflower plug at the counter behind her, thinking we werent going to realize; she didnt put the wallflower plug into the bag. Many products to choose from and lots of great seasonal scents, but I did ask an associate about a product that I loved and previously bought to which she replied dryly and let me know it was discontinued. I had asked about anything similar that she would recommend and did not offer any recommendations. Turned around and began helping someone else and offering them products and alternatives. Not equal customer service to all customers, very poor experience.
tried to return a christmas gift that was shipped to me broken (the candle was completely shattered) and they said without an order number they would only be able to give me the lowest price and that it would have to go back to the person who bought it. so for a $26 candle - $5 could go back to the original purchaser.
We bought quite a few items not that long ago, but when we got home we noticed we were missing a couple. It should have raised our suspicion when the cashier but the bag on the floor to "fix" the items under the register. I've reached out to customer service, but they did nothing to help.
