Bates continually slides my pick up schedule until the weekend and then doesn’t pick it up. I have not had any service in the past 4 weeks. They are non responsive, unreliable, and technically stealing as they continue to take my automatic payments without providing service.

Not sure how this company is still in business! They lost the city of arlington contract as they are terrible in trash pickup

They started off good. On time, good bulk pickups, put our cans back considerately, etc. Then, April 2026, they started missing pick ups every week. They missed 17 pickups in a row and had to come out on non-pickup days to get everything. There was always some dumb excuse: truck broke down, unforseen circumstances, absent employees, etc. I finally canceled service a month ago and they STILL, as of july 8, have not picked up their bins despite saying they're going to. The WORST when it comes to yard waste pickup. Over the years, I have called numerous times about them throwing yard waste into the regular garbage trucks. Each time I'm told there was an error and it would be corrected. Today, I had to call because the yard waste wasn't collected at all. They told me the crews were still out. But here it is 7pm and still no collection. I will continue to advocate for our HOA to find another contractor.
