Horrible. Spent all day here made me drive back and forth from Dale to here for “proof of address”. Was finally able to get a bank statement & a bill from Austin that was MAILED to my new address in Dale. The girl in training did not take it & supervisor Jessica said they couldn’t take it or do anything about it. Went to another place close by was in & out with my car registration, plates, & new address on title within 10 minutes with the same documents I had given them. LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
Since moving to Bastrop county nine years ago, we’ve had nothing but great experiences with BCTA. A big shout out to Kristen for all of her assistance on navigating the details involved with vehicle titles. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and professional and goes the extra mile.
They should block the drive through at like 3:45 or something. I pulled in drive through at 3:55 pulled up behind somebody else that was being served , person pulled forward at 4:05 and the women said "we close at at 4, i said I was waiting in line behind that other car before 4, she closed the blinds.... insane.
If you want to experience bureaucracy in all its glory, come and see for yourself!
