BASTA is an amazing resource for the community, giving low income renters access to justice that they otherwise wouldn't have. Evictions hurt families and cause homelessness.
I hope this helps. In California, the ruling for the owner (landlord) is 95% of the time, to give back the premisses regardless of why. Simply because they want it. The question is, when, and do they pay you to move. Bastsa was upfront and very thorough with me.
