Bartlesville Bikes is the real deal—a true gem of Bartlesville. The owner runs the shop himself, and cycling is in his DNA. He’s a super nice guy and even rode in the Tour de France. I was dealing with some awful skipping in my pedal stroke, and he fixed it in just a few minutes by diagnosing a stretched chain. He replaced the old chain and cleaned out my chainring and I was on my way all in the same visit. Really fair price for the work. Excellent service work and very knowledgeable.
Very nice guy, but not a bike mechanic. Buy your bikes and biking accessories here, but find a place in Tulsa to get a repair. My bike needed a tune up. I paid $80 for one. The gears were not indexed at all (missing 6 out of 21 gears), left pedal fell off halfway through my first ride, and the gooseneck (that he said he tightened) was squeaky.
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Bartlesville Bikes! After postponing our visit, we finally brought in our kiddo's bikes for servicing, and the owner went above and beyond. Not only was he incredibly kind and efficient, but he also knew exactly what needed to be done. He fixed the chain, adjusted the training wheels, and even replaced a back tire that had seen a few too many burnouts on our sidewalk!
