Barry is awesome. HIGHLY recommend! He's always very helpful and flexible with my schedule for pick up/drop off. After bringing my boat to him, it ran perfect!!! He is well-equipped for any job and very professional. I also like that he sends invoices via email so I can have everything ready when I go pick up my boat. Excellent service A++++ all the way! :)
Barry is an honest, excellent mechanic. We are new boat owners and purchased a used boat this spring. It wouldn't stay running and we took it to Barry's. He talked us through what could be the problem when we brought it in, and he also gave us a bunch of information about the boat, and tips on how to run it and trailer it safely. I started taking my boat to Barry years ago. I've since sold that boat (with Barry's help) and bought a new one (again, with lots of help from Barry). I have never had a negative experience in my many years with Barry as my mechanic. He is quick to help troubleshoot and solve problems and does not charge you for things that you don't need. I've had nothing but excellent service from Barry since I started going to him a little over six years ago. He's professional, personable and has a lot of experience. Last year his shop moved to Sun Prairie from McFarland and the thought of finding a different boat mechanic never crossed my mind even though he's quite a bit further away for me now. His prices are very reasonable and the work is excellent. I highly recommend him.
Great local business with personalized custom service. One of the best service experiences I have ever had. Barry's marine is just that ... Barry and he is a straight shooter all the way. You'll get honest estimates, straightforward answers, suggestions for things that are worth it, and (best of all and most helpful) the don't spend the money on that cause its not worth it type advice. Barry is now the only person I will take my boat to. I have only positive things to say with my multiple experiences with him.
