I highly recommend Barrett Regency. Their staff are knowledgeable and caring. They take care of their clients with a high standard of care.
Sheila and her staff took care of my mom for several months while my mom battled Lou Body dementia. They took such great care of her during this challenging time. They are so good with their residents. They offer great medical care while at the same time making their clients feel like they’re living at home. We are so grateful for all they did for my mom. We definitely recommend them for your loved one.
My mother was experiencing functional decline in her assisted living apartment and I couldn't bear to see her go to a large, short staffed facility where she would be just another person in a bed. A neighbor referred us to Barrett Regency and when I visited and met Sheila, I knew immediately that this was the right place for her. Our mom was a resident of Barrett for 4 years. We had her in several larger facilities and she did not do well, and she excelled here due to the one-on-one care. Barrett Regency provides individual care for its residents. Staff is caring and held to a very high standard of care by owners; Sheila, RN and husband, Tom, who are very involved in the day-to-day care of their residents. I do not recommend this facility at all! The owner and some staff are rude and not helpful to family members. Had family member in the facility and we never saw her room, only allowed to visit in kitchen table, when calling to speak to family member we would leave messages on answering machine ( as no one ever answers the phone) with no return phone calls, her clothing smelled of urine, etc. I would not recommend this facility to anyone!!
