Shelia and her staff at Barrett Regency are amazing!! They provided our dad with top-notch care right up to the end of his life. It was impressive and comforting that three of the staff members are nurses, including Shelia. Barrett Regency feels like home! The home and everyone there are very warm and inviting. Sheila and her staff took care of my mom for several months while my mom battled Lou Body dementia. They took such great care of her during this challenging time. They are so good with their residents. They offer great medical care while at the same time making their clients feel like they’re living at home. We are so grateful for all they did for my mom. We definitely recommend them for your loved one.
My mother was experiencing functional decline in her assisted living apartment and I couldn't bear to see her go to a large, short staffed facility where she would be just another person in a bed. A neighbor referred us to Barrett Regency and when I visited and met Sheila, I knew immediately that this was the right place for her. Our mom was a resident of Barrett for 4 years. We had her in several larger facilities and she did not do well, and she excelled here due to the one-on-one care. Barrett Regency provides individual care for its residents. Staff is caring and held to a very high standard of care by owners; Sheila, RN and husband, Tom, who are very involved in the day-to-day care of their residents.
