I began working with Michael Lara of Barrett Financial in April 2025 to explore a HELOC and potentially purchase a second property in Atlanta. Totally unprofessional and incompetent company!! They initially contact you and then are unreachable after you send them all the requested paperwork to do the loan. I dealt with 2 loan officers and 2 supervisors and none of them knew how to come out of the rain. After almost one month of receiving the requested paperwork, they had not even submitted my paperwork to underwriting. Then the final supervisor I spoke with got it to underwriting with NOTHING I requested. He obviously did not check with the 2 previous loan off... read more
