They do not look after residents. My step father went in there against his wishes. He fell out of bed. Went to the hospital. He was dehydrated and infection from untreated bed sores were so bad they amputated his leg. Wound dressing are not looked after. They say not enough personnel. Do not take your loved ones there
The Sienna Living nursing staff are conscientious, available to talk and very caring. I have heard many good stories about this LTC facility and they are proving correct. Not all LTC facilities show this way and I'm thankful that this facility was available when my Mom needed their care.
My mom has been a resident here (Cardinal Way) for almost 9 years and was transferred here from the hospital with a low survival expectation of approximately 6 weeks. If it weren’t for the amazing staff my mom wouldn’t still be with us. We find this facility very clean, in fact one of the cleanest I have ever visited and I believe the reason for getting residents up to the dining room or to participate in activities is two fold.
