He's my father
After going for almost an entire year buying into hundreds of dollars of supplements so that I could receive acupuncture-I was never allowed. I followed his nutritional advice very closely and did not deviate. Every visit he would say I was so close to being able to have acupuncture but would then hand me more bottles of supplements. Your health saving plan WILL NOT cover any of it. Please be careful if you decide to sign up for his program.
It was apparent after my 2 visits that Mr. Barkstrom was not giving sound nutritional advice. He advised that carbohydrates cause "many if not all " diseases and told me that he "counsel our patients to drastically reduce or eliminate grain." I went for acupuncture treatment. In my opinion that alone should help partially alleviate my symptoms rather or not I change my diet. He could not provide any medical journal to support his claims and became agitated when I questioned him.

I'm a new patient to the practice, but not new to NRT. Jeff, Una, and entire staff have been so friendly and welcoming. I instantly felt comfortable and home with this practice. Having a master practitioner of NRT in the area has been such a welcome surprise for me since moving back here. My body is healing and I know I'm getting the best care around. Thank you!!!
