In January, we were in Gateshead main showroom not the outlet looking for new sofas to refresh our living room, the customer sevice (Mr.J)did his best not to buy and was unhelpful at all, we asked to see the sofas were on their website, he confirmed that they are not available to see in the showroom, so I asked what if we ordered the sofas but did not like them at home!!he replied literally: you are stuck, no return I said this is unfair, he continued: we are not selling to return the items and did not bother himself to che... read more
My initial experience at this store was great. The salesman was not pushy in any way and advised me to have a good look around before going ahead with the sofa I was wanting to order. Without going in to too much info, I found out they kept £357 from a family member on a cancelled order from 9m prior that they refused to refund, but could have credit against something of the same or more value- £1400.
