I've enjoyed going to Barelas senior Center for about 5 years now. I like going on the field trips. But lately the staff has not been very friendly. From Katherine at the front desk with her ugly, rude tone of voice, to Cynthia slamming the metal curtain in the cafeteria to Thomas yelling out rudely for people to sign in and scan for trips. There's no reason for mistreatment, specially us seniors. Ill miss all my friends that I made there. With my last experience, I won't be going back anytime soon. ☹️
Is a very nice senior center clean very polite staff. Lots of things to keep busy. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful. Nice place to hang o.
Excellent training in AARP Smart DriverGuide for seniors. Bring 90 yrs old , zi found it helped me understand small things that help me not cause an accident. I know I don’t have the reflexes of the past, and this 4 hour program helped me be more alert to situations that I can identify and avoid
Dennis is absolutely the best w/ ceramics—very helpful.
