Micah was so great, I came to SB for a wedding and asked last minute if he could take me out the next morning. Had a great time surfing with him!
Micah is an absolute touchdown, for anyone looking for a chill, local SBA experience surfing. He caters to all levels of surfers and went out of his way to find the best break based on the conditions. If you are in town and wanting to surf, highly recommend going with Micah, he was top notch all around!
Mikah made this surf lesson a truly wonderful experience. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and very positive. The good vibes he brought were contagious and I felt excited to learn and test out my skills. He didn’t over teach, just gave some really excellent pointers that allowed me to adapt and learn as I got comfortable. I had a great time! Would definitely recommend to others.
Best surf lesson ever! I was visiting Santa Barbara for the weekend and contacted "Barbarian's Cave" for a lesson. They picked me up from my hostel, provided a wetsuit, and gave me the best tips for surfing. I caught every wave with their soft board, and they even let me try a hard longboard for the first time and catch waves! It was really easy thanks to their tips. The spot we went to for the lesson had amazing waves as well! Highly recommend—don't miss it!
Micah was not only a great surf coach (our whole group of newbies got up on a board), but he also was super flexible to find a time that worked for us. Really appreciate the fun attitude and great vibes :)
