We booked the tickets in advance. The directions to the ferry can be market a little better, but we were early enough to search and find. The trip to Bar Harbour we found is a very convenient way to travel to Bar Harbour, walk around and enjoy the street life, shops & restaurants in town. In total a very good experience which I will put high on my "to do" list when visiting this area. Some really spectacular views from the ferry.
Buy tickets in advance. Our entire family almost couldn’t make it, but thanks to the help of “the lady in the big hat”, we were able to get to Bar Harbor.
