Just stay away from the bank and branch. I went to cash a check drawn from a small non-profit account at Bar Harbor and they refused to cash it unless I paid a fee that was more than the value of the check. It was there policy. If you are a small business or non-profit, or someone that writes checks. Just stay away from Bar Harbor.
