BHBT customer for over 35 years. Stay away ! One of the most unprofessional / amateurish bank branches I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Most of the tellers are condescending and intrusive. It's too bad because BHBT is an awesome institution. Blue Hill branch is hurting your reputation !
I've been a BHBT customer for around 30 years (yikes!), and through that time there have been a lot of changes. Some of what the other comments write about (like charging to cash a check at their own branch, or refusing to wire money) I can't speak to - that seems like something that should change. But what I do know is that at this branch, they have been SOOOO patient with working with a series of complex legal and financial transactions related to irrevocable trusts, estate accounts, POAs and Personal Representative stuff ... read more
I banked here for 26 years, paid off a home loan, never bounced a check and had $25k in a CD. BHBT decided that it couldn't risk wiring $10k of MY money to a bank in Michigan for a business transaction. The deal fell through and I lost over $2k. These folks suck, end of story. Take your business elsewhere.
