Last night I went to the Bar Harbor Bank to withdraw funds on the ATM machine. The funds never came out. This morning an audit was done and it was found that the funds were not dispersed. The bank has the funds ( 500.00). I paid a 3.50 transaction fee. However in a conversation with the branch manager they cannot give me the funds. After being hung up on, and my calls not answered another phone was used ( some friends were in the room and offered another phone) and the call was answered. Stay away from this bank. Bad mojo. Unfriendly. Opened my account at North Country CU. Great people there. Friendly and helpful.
Dishonest. Stay away from this bank if you value your money. There are other banks in the area that treat customers with respect, and non customers as if they wanted to have them as customers. This bank does not.
Opens late and closes early. Not good for business. Employees are underexperienced and not personal
