Tried to close my deceased brothers account. Had all documentation needed (and accepted at Royal Bank) but the directorate REFUSED to be accept two separate copies of will searches sent to me by a notary. Apparently and according to notary office new law states all documents are only available electronically but they would not accept that explanation! And I cannot get through to the branch by phone! Very frustrating.
We're trying out this bank and their travel credit card. After cancelling a trip, our reimbursement took almost six months. And this is after many hours of gathering information, which they lost, TWICE. Then, at random times, they ask you to change password. OK, Fine! But they won't let me change it. TRY AGAIN LATER. I just want to log on, get my cc balance and log off to go to my other bank to transfer money. This should take 30 seconds.
