My friend and I went in to cash a check from our employer who banks with them. The clerk told me they couldn’t cash anything over $2k for non-customers. Okay, if that’s your policy that’s your policy. Then my friend goes to cash his which is $1k and she is asking him 21 questions…who does he work for..when did he get the check..then she has to call the school and verify that she can cash it..I told him let’s go because we have somewhere else to be so we’ll go cash it somewhere else. By far the most INCOMPETENT bank Office I have ever dealt with. I have been here for 2 hours trying to close a CD. The staff treat customers with complete impunity. We were told we did not need an appointment to do this NOW the manager is yelling at us we should have made and appointment. THIS IS INSANE. RUN AWAY FROM THOSE BRANCH

I've had an account with Bank United (opened at a different branch) for over 20 years and it used to be good. But this branch is the 2nd worst. The worst one closed. Lately its a bit improved and the new staff is somewhat nicer, but in general I DREAD having to go to this branch because everyone is grumpy and in a terrible mood and they treat you like you bothering them by doing a transaction. I'm guessing it must be a horrible place to work.
