This branch is making doing less and less in to a profession. Not only do they now close for lunch, they close early on a Friday and now without the coin counter either force you to count coins or go to another branch. Constantly refusing service with “use the atm next time” I reckon they’ll be closed permanently before Christmas using the excuse there was a drop in transactions. They never have enough staff and foster long queues.

This bank is shut from 12 until 1.pm during the week now. There was no notification to customers about this. Today about 2.pm (23/12/2023), I and probably many other people this afternoon found that the bank was closed. Customers are no longer treated with respect by banks. They never have enough staff so there is often a long wait to be served.

For a bank that merged with westpac you would think they would at least have more resources. Think again! 10 people in queue with only 1 teller, then turned away and told to go to another branch because they didn’t have $20 worth of coin at all. In fact, was told that $500 worth of coin is such a huge order and needed to be ordered a week in advance! Really disappointed that being a bank, they can’t even supply cash. These banks and many more are pushing for a cashless society so they don’t have to do as much work.
