Since BankRI is now under umbrella of Beacon Bank, the transition process was a nightmare and customer service is wanting. The actual online service and accuracy of my checking acct is okay. Zelle is only available if sender and receiver are B Bank customers.

One of the main features that has kept me as a customer is their phone support. You press #1 for personal banking and REAL LIVE HUMAN BEING picks up every time. Hardly any waiting. And they are local people too. No banks offer that anymore. I left Bank of America because of the disastrous phone menu system. Unfortunately, Bank RI just announced they are merging to create a regional bank. I hope they don't change their service because that is what sets them apart.

I would like to let the people know that the manager of BankRI in Highland Ave East Providence needs to go! Closes way before closing time and not to mention shutting the door in my face! Always closing earlier and the hard working people that need to cash their checks or take care of personal business can not do so because of her! Uses the excuse of system is down all the time. If management keeps this manager any longer i will take all my money out of here and go elsewhere!
