I have been with this bank, though 3 name changes. I do not use the branch on hospital dr due to them being slower than cold Malaysia. Today, 1/2/25 only had one teller in the building, and the manager could not be bothered to get on a lane to get people out of the building. Hopefully, this is not the new normal at this branch. I've been on site for 30 minutes. Normally it at most 5 for me to walk in even if they have one to two people ahead of me.

I called on the date my CD matured and was told the renewal rate was 5%. I was told no action required on my part. 3 weeks later I received the renewal notice and rate was 0.12%. About 50-fold less. I was told it could not be corrected. Had to close CD (penalty was waived with my insistence) and open new one to get the 5%. I had phone log showing I had called bank on the maturity date. Basically told once in the computer they could not correct. No more working via phone for me even though has worked fine in the past. I was t... read more
