Poor Service and poor management at the Wilmington NC Branch in our experience and opinion. We visited the branch to make a large principal payment. We asked three specific times to the teller to confirm the payment was made to principal. Two days later the payment listed all paid to interest. We contacted the Wilmington branch and the branch manager informed us there was a system problem. Kudos for having great, helpful folks who work at this branch (all OZK banks for that matter, in which I've been.) Rob Gauthier not only literally opened the branch for me this morning but took care of my immediate need - a stop of my compromised debit card - got me a replacement card, and a nice conversation with him to boot ! Banking with OZK is a pleasure.
I just opened a CD, Money Market and Checking account at Bank OZK Professional, friendly and amazing customer service from the minute you step into the lobby. I worked with Rob Gauthier and Aza who were so patient and helpful in setting up my accounts. Great rates for my CD and Money Market. Highly recommend the bank and Rob! Oh, and they are dog friendly!
This bank does NOT deserve even a 1 star. I'm 81 and the worst bank I have ever done business EVER. THEY ARE NOT ON YOUR SIDE. THEY LIE AND DESIEVE AND DO NOTHING.
Worst banking experience. Always takes forever for any type of service.
