Awful bank. The women who work at the Fraser office who where there during Bank of the West days, wonderful. However, BMO customer service and my operational experience with their website has been down right miserable. When I called today to understand why I got an alert that my account was accessed from an unregistered device, I ended up crying cause of their validation process. I hate this bank and when I have the ability to switch, I will run to the next bank.
I've had nothing but quality friendly service from the Fraser branch of BMO.
After banking here for over 10 years, I will soon be closing my account. At one point was very good customer service and easy to work with. Not anymore, and now even when you have an account and have been a loyal customer, you can't even get larger bills changed out to small ones, and then be told on the way out the door, just because you have an account here doesn't mean we have to make change for you.. Great back friendly staff
After depositing my paycheck and waiting nearly a week for the funds to be available I called the the local branch. The guy who answered was incredibly rude and would not provide any kind of explanation other than trying to try to convince me that after 6 days I was still in the 2 day waiting period. Even after adjusting for the weekend that math just don’t work(am I really trusting my money with someone who can’t count to two). He couldn’t or wouldn’t even tell me when it would be available.
