I love this particular branch and everyone who works here. BMO as a bank is a horrible corporate entity that has no qualms about wrapping your life in red tape and destroying your trust in financial institutions as a whole. However, the employees at this local branch are incredibly helpful, empathetic, and professional. They are clearly just as frustrated by the corporate stranglehold as the customers are. 5 stars for the local staff, 0 stars for BMO corporate.
Went into the bank to make a business transaction and the lady at the counter was a rude and awful at her job. Wouldn’t help me inside the bank and then made me walk around to the drive through lane on foot? Where’s the customer service? It’s crazy when they are advertising in town events come to us for a business account? The bank does what will help you
I was told by the teller after I opened my account at BMO that my personal checks would not be accepted. I said since that is the case, with no other options I would like to close the account and she said it would be $50.00. I said I would go somewhere else and she said that was a good idea and to have a nice day. (I ended up going to a tier 1 bank instead, no issues.) Could someone from corporate add their email address below so I can write up a formal list of issues that I experienced?
The staff at the branch are amazing to work with. They have been helpful & knowledgeable with both my personal and business needs. The free accounts and staff are the reason I chose to bank here. Highly recommend
