French Canadian bank that bought Bank of the West. Seems good so far.
I have been banking with Bank of the West/BMO for over 10 years and I have never had a bad experience. When I've had fraud on my account, they took care of it. When they offered a credit 💳 card for 0%, they issued me a card. And when I needed to take money out, the customer service is great. I've recommended BMO to my friends too.
Wish I could give ZERO stars. I was a bank of the west custormer and it has been a great big pain in the @$$ since they took over that bank. Dealing with bmo custormer service which I have to do muiltible times every week because they suck so bad has been a time consuming pain in the @$$. I will be closing my personal and muilitble business accounts tomorrow after my last interaction with their non custormer service which you can barely understand. They defrauded me of $250. I opened my account to take part in their end of summer promo, which was an offer of $250 cash if you opened a new checking account (new customers). There were some conditions you had to meet and the bonus was paid by Jan 31st if all conditions had been met.. in all it was about 5 months from when I opened the account till payout.
