In the last month, the ATM has been broken 4/5 times that I have tried to use it. I would not recommend using this bank.
My experience so far with this branch of BMO has been very positive. June is the most inviting and welcoming and kind banker. She's knowledgeable and very helpful. I can't think of a single time I've ever had to wait more than 2 minutes when I visit this branch. My interactions with the staff have always been quick, efficient, kind, and helpful.
They put a 30 day "hold" on my retirement funds and did NOT release the funds to me. Thank God I have 300k in credit card limits which translates to 60k in available cash advances. I was able to temporilty "borrow" 2k in cash and pay my bills for the month. BMO took over my bank, "Bank of the West". BMO bank's spokes person on TV is a nygroe, so I never had high expectations from our new bank (BMO).
I called to get any information I could if they had any on an old account I had with Bank of the West a coulpe years ago. June talked to me on the phone with additude while she said "no" to every question I had regarding my own past account. She kinda acted like I was trying to get one over on her... weird... when I was trying to simply know the steps to get info on what happened with an account not active anymore, proof of in activity ect.
