I've been with BMO for probably 25+ years. I'll be closing my account and going to a local credit union. I'm very unsatisfied with the customer service here and the way they treated my fraud case amongst other issues.
BMO will NOT help or protect customers from fraud. If you report fraudulent activity, BMO will punish their customers and won't care if you are elderly and/or disabled. Do NOT bank with BMO , because they won't care. They told me to come into the branch and they were closed(in the middle of a work day)after telling me they were definitely going to solve my issues, (I had to go to a different branch, and I can't walk and don't have transportation, which they KNEW!)then they tried to take my money. Went to BMO Bank on North Pershing. Terrible. Makayla did everything she could to not help us, telling us it was her lunch break, she didn't know how to do what we wanted, she'd have to get her legal department to review documents, and we'd probably have to wait until after the weekend. So my brother and I went to the BMO Bank on El Dorado and it was a totally different experience. Everyone was friendly, nice, and helpful.
