I almost rarely go into the branch so I’m going to talk about the bank in whole. First let’s start with I did a mobile deposit through the app, I woke up the next day with a large negative amount (the amount of the check) the customer service guy told me it was because I had a lot of charges in my account that equaled the EXACT amount my check was. Doesn’t make sense. After reversing whatever they did on there end my account was back good and it still took 2 weeks for them to clear the check in and release the funds. The mob... read more

I came in for a simple cash withdrawal and spent nearly 20 minutes in the branch even though there was only one customer ahead of me. The teller assisting that customer spent a long time talking with a woman. I don’t know whether it was business-related or not, but the interaction lasted much longer than expected. At one point I heard another employee say, “Stop flirting with the lady,” after that they finally started to wrap up their conversation. I had a very disappointing experience at the BMO branch on Long Beach Boulevard today while helping my mother open a new account. The employee who assisted us, Russ (or Rass) the tattooed guy. He was very impolite and unprofessional throughout the entire process. As soon as we sat down, he told us he was trying to finish quickly because he had somewhere to be at 1:30 p.m., even though we arrived around 1:00 p.m. As customers, we should not feel rushed because of an employee's personal schedule.
