You have GOT to be kidding me! I was on the phone with them, waited on hold, got to someone. He didn't seem like he wanted to help and said "just one moment" and put me on hold. Then a minute later I got sent BACK to the main menu. So I try again, wait on hold, and get to someone else. Same deal, except this person REALLY didn't wanna help me. we were looking for a bank fforneurodivergent 20 year-old. We need a special account where overdraft never occurs even under recurring charges. We could not find that feature at any bank. The law allows people to draw overdraft fees and so they do. This is one of the only banks that has a truly only spend what you have debit card account. It’s awesome. not all their accounts do it. Ever since Bank of the West joined BMO it’s been horrifble. They always have some sort of issue whether it be with deposits or maintenance. Bank of the West was quick They’re like antiquated you have to call when traveling and setting up your debit or credit cards, whereas, before that was something you took care of online. I’d change banks but it’s a big hassle. Maybe one day.
Terrible experience they opened and closed my account within a week due to back office stating they found chek systems in my name. I went to another financial institution. I do don’t recommend the jumping through hoops experience and lack of professionalism on a voicemail that I received as well with the follow up.
Do not trust this bank. They have put us through hell since our mother passed The branch in Coolidge AZ has incompetent employees. The legal deptartment has no clue and are slow. The staff at the Layton branch was wonderful and helpful.
