Customer service is terrible. Barely spoke English. Not sure if they outsource. Any extra payment towards loan does not go towards principle only goes towards future payments. Only way to pay towards principle is to wait on hold for 20 minutes and do it over the phone. Online and app are outdated and a pain. Wont do any business with them again.
The five stars I am giving is for the banks Retail Relationship banker, Alex Castillo. Any time I have gone into the bank he has always been welcoming and helpful with my wife and I. Recently we had a problem with accessing our statements online. I tried customer service and received little help. I had tried for two weeks then finally went to the bank and spoke with Alex. He took the time to listen and look into the problem. Within a day he sent detailed instructions on how to get around the system and access my statements. ... read more
Didn’t setup accounts correctly from the start causing them to be frozen, then closed the accounts for erroneous and invalid reasons. Stay far away from this bank.
Guess I should’ve looked at the reviews on this bank before I opened an account y’all weren’t kidding this place sucks. Then somehow got worse after it became BMO. Multiple bad experiences here, including trying to withdraw my money. Even after I told them in advance I was making a large withdrawal a week in advance. I still there for an hour while they talk to whoever they have to talk to to get authorization to give me my money.
