This review is for BMO (no reflection on the Oakland branch) I’m going to learn today…stop expecting different results from the same system. The banking system, period, is NOT interested in helping ADOS move forward. And is actually working actively against us, using one of “us”, in this case, to be a agent of their mission. This also applies to their complicit partner @Elavon.
Bank of the West was wonderful. BMO is not. I finally had a bank I loved in BW and then BMO bought it. The people in the Broadway branch are so friendly and helpful, but they're the exception. Otherwise it's been all downhill since then since the BM takeover. Who names their bank BM anyway? Online support is hard to get to. They don't have any support contact option when you log in to a BMO account, you can plan on an hour wait by phone + they started charging me all kinds of fees once the bank changed ownership. Absolutely hate going into this branch. I feel like I'm being pestered, harassed and upsold everything I go here. Not only that but when I say I'm not interested they push aggressively, I said no and the teller said they would call me tomorrow regardless. Worst customer service I have ever received. I avoid this branch at my own inconvenience because of this.
