I called the San Pablo location to take care of an account issue. I was told a banker would call me back. After an hour, I called again and was told I might receive a call the next day. Well, four days later, I haven't heard back. Not sure why I bank here. Edit: while I never received a call back, I did go in a week later and received solid customer service from Natalie. She listened and resolved my issue without delay. Reach out to her if you have issues.
The bank operates on a skeleton crew. Once you are being helped, the service is professional. The manager does not seem too happy. Maybe she is over worked.
This is pretty late but anytime I go here there’s incredible service! I’m horrible with names but there are two women there that always put in the most and I’m thankful for them. I went in today and someone started helping me but it was going to take longer since I had to look up information instead one of the ladies remembered me and got the information I needed quickly and without asking. I live in Chile. When I try to assess my account, they say that my social security number and account number are wrong but don’t give me options and of course, they are wrong. If I do get through, I have to use a number in the States and at the moment, it’s 5 hours earlier. What happens to someone that may not have assess to a phone in the States! Also, I send money to my account in Chile every month but since the change from Bank of the West—a bank I’ve loved for more than 50 years, it’s takes twice long!!
