The only good thing is they kept some of the former (bank of the west) tellers. Thank heaven! Don't even TRY to call their customer service number. It's just a huge line of RUDE, incompetent people who don't help you anyway - & usually hang up on you. And you can't get your account balance over the phone, as was always possible before. We just go into the branch when we have a question. The cust. svc # is worthless!! The website is getting better, but still much harder to use than Bank of the West's was. Sorry to have to give that score... But after spending 2 hours on the phone with support only to come away with one thing resolved I'm seriously thinking of closing the account I just opened today. Gina at the branch was wonderful.... The rest is a nightmare. My one solid beef with the branch is... The process took a long time... They were having printing problems (no biggie) so it took 45 minutes at least. I'm a disabled senior citizen that has to take meds that cause frequent #1 breaks. So... Just not happy since they took over Bow. When i went in to close my acount they got big attitude.Was gonna close the savings but it was new so i have to wait 90 days,thats fine i get a letter saying it has been closed i diddnt close it they did and where the .... is my money they stink.
Since changing to BMO both my husband and I’s bank cards have shut down 2x! We are now on vacation out of state and screwed because we have no access to our accounts! No one answers the phone at our branch and online treats us like a new customer. We are leaving!
