We have banked at this branch for over 40 years and it has changed names many times. After BMO took over it has been nothing but problems with our accounts. We are in the process of leaving because the errors and customer service are deplorable. They made mistakes ordering my checks as I'm over the 10,000 number so I have to order at the branch but wouldn't do anything about it and I had to wait another 3 weeks for checks or pay my own $60 to expedite for their mistake. 6 weeks for checks! The staff doesn’t handle anything that has to do with the ATM. I’ve been a bank of the west customer and/or BMO customer for 16 years. The ATM ate $630 dollars and it has been a week since calling and “filing a case”. They have now told me it could be FOURTY FIVE DAYS. Worst experience I’ve had with a bank. Will be changing banks when this charade is over.
I don't generally write a negative review, but this one warranted it. Worst financial experience ever! BMO required we have an account there to cash a check from a BMO customer. We opened account out of state. Not convenient at all. We added to the account occasionally. We received a large check from our insurance company for some property damage and deposited into our BMO Account. 3 days later the insurance company put a stop payment on the check, and BMO reversed the deposit. I received a check from State Farm for a property that was struck by a vehicle five months earlier. It has gone back and forth my policy and insured. I went and deposited the check, but I guess State Farm had stopped payment on it. I couldn’t log in and had to go in and verify who I was. I did have a check from my policy, but the fraud division said I no longer bank there. It has been over two weeks and they still haven’t sent me my money. They could have charged a fee and the insurance company would have gladly paid for it.... read more
