TLDR: BMO has withheld 2500 of fund even tho the funds had been release and is ruining my wedding.will close account when money is released. Wish i could give 0 stars! I had a very difficult time closing my savings account. On the phone, or the Clive BMO branch they were not able or willing to help. I really appreciate this branch being so kind and taking care of this issue for me and being so thoughtful.
I’d like to say I was denied a checking account, but I was never able to actually reach the apparent ‘higher up’ who would explain to me precisely why I was unable to open an account. I was initially told this was due to an account closure with a savings account I opened and had zero activity on (it was a program with my college that I never ended up utilizing) with a credit union in my previous state.
