I am extremely disappointed with my experience at BMO. I deposited a legitimate payroll check, yet the bank placed a 7-business-day hold on my funds, preventing me from accessing the money I earned. Despite contacting customer service and explaining the hardship this caused, I was told the hold could not be removed. Payroll checks are meant to provide employees with timely access to their wages. The branch manager here is incredibly rude. Over the last couple of years I have moved my accounts away from this bank solely because of her. I still have my home mortgage at BMO, but will be withdrawing that after today as well. They could I don't recommend banking here because of the management alone.
Huge thanks to Joann and Sadie for helping me 15 minutes before closing. I’m a little technology insufficient and Joanne was so kind and helpful! Sadie chimed in several times to help with the issue I had. Thank you so much for your kindness and patience.
