I came to BMO one day to open my first bank account because my family trusts this bank a lot. Katrina helped me set up my checking & savings accounts, and gave me all the resources and instructions I needed. She presented everything in a way that was easy to understand and showed me how to navigate the bank. I was just really surprised by the hospitality of the services here. Leanne, the branch manager, is exceptional!! Trying to fix a years-long dormant checking account issue. Leanne pinpointed the root causes, professionally problems solving; always with smiling& cozy altitudes. great personnel.
Took me two hours to do some basic business banking at this branch. I thought the problem was just San Mateo, but cheerful incompetence is the norm with BMO Bank. Their Fremont Branch was quick to hand our money over to identity thieves. It took us months to work through the issue. We did, so I wasn't going to complain, but the last time I had to call them for a bank statement which THEY lost (it's vanished from the website) they made it impossible to get to anyone to talk to. AVOID BMO. ANY BMO.
