I’ve been going to the Larkspur BMO/BOTW branch since I was a kid when my parents used to come in for their banking, and now I have my own accounts there. This branch truly feels like a family. Andrew writes great verification letters and always asks how my house projects are going, Ranjan is kind and always quick to help, and Cristino who's helped my parents a ton over the years and helped me open my very first bank account as a kid rocks the best outfits on Fridays. Have had several good experiences at this branch recently where they have been able to accommodate my needs well and efficiently. Andrew has been helpful and friendly. I miss BoW, but this branch has still given me personal attention on more complicated and larger transactions.
Opened new account. Asked to change phone number. "Must go into branch for security." Fine. Went into branch. Changed number. Tried to live chat about a question. "We see you recently failed authentication, must go into branch for your question." Seriously? BMO is operating in the 1980's. Do not recommend BMO.
Opened account Thur. Scheduled my deposit for Mon. Received email Sat (all branches closed) stating I must physically bring 3 pieces of ID to branch. Online account locked. 35 minute hold time on phone. Do not recommend BMO.
Today 5/27 I went to change my name on the account. The Bank Rep didn’t know how to process, but doesn’t want to call for help. He treated me like a scammer that I didn’t bring the court papers. I explained to him that without court papers I will not have my new drivers licenses. In fact someone on the phone told me to bring just driver license. He said he would not want to do it as he just got a written up. What have to do with me. He also told me to make easy to cancel the account, open new one. It’s so convenience for him... read more
