Changing rating from 1 to 3 stars a year later, they're now called BMO (prev Bank of the West) and they offered $400 bonus to open a checking account with direct deposit. My husband and I both opened new accounts to take advantage of that and surprisingly the process wasn't half as bad. 4 months later after the requirements are met, we got our bonus right on schedule.
