I would strongly recommend avoiding BMO. My experiences at this branch have been consistently frustrating, disappointing, and unacceptable for a bank. Basic banking services seem to be a challenge here. I was told I could only exchange $10 at a time for a roll of quarters, and they were unable to make change for a $100 bill, which is honestly shocking for a bank. Update! The branch reached me and took good care of the situation. Explained a free upgrade to me, and clarified my banking approach. I feel much better. Thank you for the follow up. ***Horribly confusing bank, so regrettable that they have entered the California market so aggressively. Customer service doesn’t talk to mortgage, mortgage doesn’t work with collections. Horribly confusing bank, so regrettable that they have entered the California market so aggressively. Customer service doesn’t talk to mortgage, mortgage doesn’t work with collections. So many times have I sat on the phone trying to understand simple timing of deposit to mortgage payment timing and no one has answers. Easy bank to get money out - though impossible to receive intelligent service. The branch is fine, BMO is the worst bank I have ever dealt with.
I am shocked by their lack of customer service. I deposited a lot of $$ and they wouldn’t give me 2 pens with their name on it so I could share with my friends. I’m looking for another bank. I prefer the neighborhood because it’s walking distance and in gourmet ghetto.
