Awful experience. Went there 1 year ago to open an account and haven’t gone back since. Definitely felt that they favored other people and felt discriminated against and unwelcome based on their favoritism. I hope they’re able to improve their customer service be more welcoming and inclusive to people of color.
I went in to open an account with them at the office cause I had problems verifying so I took my social security card and CA DL when she noticed she had that social.on her system she said she couldn't open an account for me and gave me all my things back she just told me "We have this social security number in our system you need to clear that up with the Social Security Administration" They were wrong just didn't want to do the work, just bad customer service.
Stay away from this bank. Bunch of lazy airheads working at this branch. Unprofessional and ignorant. They don't know what they are doing.
Was hoping that when BMO purchases Bank of the West things would get better, but it seems worse. Glendale CA BMO 1 Bank Teller and a very long line up, the Bank's ATM is down. The login authentication is not robust, sometimes it works and sometimes not, the password is stored but is randomly rejected at times and then suddenly starts to work again. Typical BMO Error Code: Error code: AK_DNY - 172.xxx.xx.xxx I thought I would give BMO a chance but its not looking good a few months in, seems worse than Bank of the West.
