I am not a customer of this bank but have had a pretty disappointing experience with them. I paid a contractor with a check and unfortunately for me that contractor uses Bank of the Flint Hills. They told the contractor that my check bounced because they were “unable to locate my account” and charged him a fee. My bank has, multiple times, confirmed that all of the numbers on my check correctly match the account and that there is no reason this should have happened. New to KS-courteous, very professional, made me feel comfortable and I chose them!
The service provided by the tellers and new account person, Matthew, was an A+ experience. They were all kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this bank.
This bank is so far behind times. No online check deposit. No overdraft protection. Plus they try to charge you for a basic debit account. You all realize in 2021 banks pay you to have your money? You all need to move out of the 1950's.
