My mother just died and I called them asking how we approach turning over my mom’s checking account. They said there’s a 45 day waiting period but I can come in to drop off the death certificate and get the ball rolling on signing an affidavit. Great. Wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone, horrible customer service and won’t help you if you have a dispute. Last year I had evidence that Amazon had riped me off and charged me three times. But they sided with Amazon even though I showed them I had only bought the item once and I had been charged twice more. Now they decided to put a hold onto every direct deposit check that comes in. Don't go to the bank on Dale Road. They are only nice to people that have been banking there for years. They are rude and don't help you when you have questions. They give you vague answers and don't help you at all. You are better off going to the bank of stockton in Manteca, they are a lot friendlier and they smile and greet you when you walk in.
